Description & Flavour

Commercially cultivated and readily available – the grey or silver oyster is full-bodied with light coloured gills spanning from the tip to the base of the mushroom, where there is a slight stem. They have a delicate and spongey texture with a velvety cap. Oyster mushrooms from a big part of Asian cooking and can be used as a replacement for various protein options, mainly in stir-fries, soups and sauces.
