Full to the brim with good stuff, oyster mushrooms are high in protein, fibre and iron, with levels of zinc, potassium, niacing, selenium, calcium, phosphorus, folic acid and vitamin C and D, as well as antioxidants

Description & Flavour

The golden oyster – named tamogitake in Japan – Great with clusters and long stems and small, round trumpetlike caps.

They are bright yellow to gold and brown with a velvety, dry surface texture and looks similar to the winter chanterelle. The small oysters can stay whole to cook, otherwise, it’s best to tear oyster mushrooms from the top to the bottom into strips or smaller pieces.
